Thrive Veterinary Surgical Services is a newly developed mobile service providing advanced surgical care to dogs and cats throughout all of Alaska. Based in Palmer, AK, the majority of cases will be seen in the Mat-Su Valley / Anchorage bowl area.
As business grows, a second veterinary technician with experience in specialty surgery and anesthesia is desired. Responsibilities will mostly include running anesthesia, assisting in surgery, communicating with clients, and helping with the transit, cleaning, re-sterilization, and ordering of equipment.
A tight-knit and efficient team requires the right people! The following characteristics are most desirable in the interested applicant: adequate experience in small animal anesthesia, self-motivated, able to adapt and participate in the growth stage of the business, honest, kind, reliable, and passionate.

Dr. Serratore performed surgery on my 11-year-old male GSD on Thursday, November 3rd to remove a large and probably malignant tumor from his throat.
